Launched!

Cairde Amharclann na Saoirse, in Éirinn (Friends of the Freedom Theatre Ireland) launched at Project Arts Centre, Dublin, Ireland on Tuesday 2nd December 2025.  A new independent cultural organisation set up to support Palestinian artists, build partnerships with Irish Institutions and to support the work and ethos of The Freedom Theatre, Jenin, Palestine. 

Opening the event, poet Sarah Clancy, freshly returned from the Global Sumud Flotilla, grounded the event in truth, courage and solidarity. Co-Artistic Director, Gráinnemir, spoke about the vital role of theatre as a tool for cultural resistance and connection, alongside Chairperson Neilí Conroy, who shared her lived experience of cultural resistance at The Freedom Theatre in Jenin.
